EN Milah van Zuilen, visual artist and forest ecologist in training, uses the square to deal with the habit of people to construct nature. Square Fieldwork is filmed in the Bohemian forest in the Czech Republic and the concrete structure of Barendrecht, The Netherlands.
NL Milah van Zuilen, beeldend kunstenaar en bos-ecoloog in opleiding, werkt met maar één vorm: het vierkant. Milah’s focus op dit figuur, gecreëerd door de mens, is haar manier om te onderzoeken hoe wij de natuur naar onze hand zetten. Vierkant Veldwerk is gefilmd in het Tsjechische Boheemse Woud en in de betonnen vierkante wereld van Barendrecht, Nederland.
