Met een lichte toon en een open blik volgt filmmaker Okki Poortvliet een jagersgroep op het Drentse platteland. Ze observeert de jacht en keert twee dagen later terug om jager Geert te volgen terwijl hij de dieren prepareert. Een film over onze relatie met doden, het veranderende platteland en de vraag of er nog wel ongerepte natuur bestaat.

With a light tone and an open gaze, filmmaker Okki Poortvliet follows a hunting party in the Drenthe countryside. She observes the hunt and returns two days later to follow hunter Geert as he prepares the animals. A film about our relationship with killing, the changing countryside, and the question of whether untouched nature still exists.
